My approach to writing about dance, performance, and art is to critically analyze the aesthetics, history, and context that may inform the work. My goal in reviewing an artwork is to help the viewer and performers illuminate their connection, possible cosmologies, and mythologies in the work with which they are engaging. My writing often slides in and out of poetic prose and exposition.
